Share a little HOPE FOR CHRISTMAS!

Dear Partners and Friends,

Through the ministries of Pro.Vision Kids, our dedicated team brings love and joy to children living in some of the most impoverished squatter communities in Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Zamboanga City, and the Tausug tribal town of Recodo.

This Christmas, our goal is for each child to receive a gift basket filled with basic food staples, including several kilos of rice, household and hygiene essentials, and some treats for a special holiday meal. Each child will also receive their new Pro.Vision Kids t-shirt for 2026.

We intentionally avoid giving toys, as these are often sold by families for food - or tragically, in some cases, to fund harmful addictions. Instead, we aim to provide practical items that truly serve the needs of the children and their families.
 

Our Christmas celebration with the kids will include:

* A festive and nutritious meal

* A meaningful message about Jesus

* Games, prizes, Christmas songs and prayer shared in joy and community

The cost per child for the gift basket and participation in the celebration is $40AUD.

Our hope is to provide 300 baskets for children across the communities we serve. Many of the kids in our program no longer have sponsors, but we continue to support them through to high school. With your help, we can make this Christmas truly meaningful for them.

In addition, we would love to provide our faithful local volunteers with baskets in appreciation for their tireless support throughout the year.

We would also love to bless each of our 8 Pro.Vision staff with a Christmas meal and cash bonus valued at $135AUD. These dedicated individuals serve faithfully throughout the year, despite receiving far less than they deserve. While we are unable to offer them fair monthly compensation, this year-end gift is one small way we can honour their commitment.
