In Nov 2020, One Foundation International board announced a new regime of admin charges relating to the processing and distribution of donations. The new charges came from an extensive review and a desire to reduce the impact of admin charges on the donor and the organisations receiving donations. 

At the time, the board also committed to an annual review process built on feedback from partner organisations. 

We continue to recognise the impact of charges on donor confidence. We want to make sure our charges are in the best interest of our partners and calculated against the actual service we provide. 

Throughout 2021, it became clear to us that our regime of charges was causing a level of confusion, especially for new partners who joined us. 

At our board meeting in July 2022, we reviewed our current charges and decided to simplify them and further reduce the admin fee.

The new changes will take effect from July 1 2022 and be reviewed annually to ensure they support the commitment of donors to the projects they support. 

From July 1, 2022, a flat fee of 7% will be charged against all donations processed by One Foundation. This represents a reduction of 3% on regular donations whilst also removing the 1% processing fee on all transactions.

In our decision-making process, we have sought to simplify our charges to ensure clarity and transparency for all stakeholders.
