B4T Indonesia empowers local communities through sustainable small business initiatives that create jobs and transform lives. By supporting entrepreneurs with mentoring, training, and access to resources, the project helps individuals develop practical, income-generating enterprises. This approach not only lifts families out of poverty but also fosters long-term economic resilience within their communities.

Program Overview

Support businesses that meet our objectives thorough financial backing, business training and mentorship, empowering them so that they can make a kingdom impact and support their communities.


Target Audience

The local entrepreneurs who are running a business and need financial support, resources and training to grow and succeed.  


Activities
Peace Food Lombok (Island West Nusa Tenggarra province)

Production and management of coffee, moringa tea, local community agricultural products, training and business development for local communities.


IBU IBU Bandung (Capital of Indonesia’s West Java)

Community of house wives who actively produce fried onions, chips and cookies which are sold.


Diet Plus Bandung (Capital of Indonesia’s West Java)

Employs nutritionist to develop meal plans to help clients address chronic disease, wight loss and nutrition for pregnant and nursing mothers.


Arunika Juice Bandung (Capital of Indonesia’s West Java)

Produces and sells blended and pureed juice from the local markets. Plans to develop and offer new product lines such as smoothie bowls.


Java Ledder (Capital of Indonesia’s West Java)

Production of handmade leather goods such bags, shoes, belts, briefcases, wallets. Premium leather is used.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Regular financial reporting to ensure loan repayments are being made and on time.

  • Regular (monthly) visits by the field developers (Douglas Yamashita) to discuss progress, provide assistance, identify any issues.

  • Quarterly reporting from the field developers to the stakeholders on the progress of each business.  

  • Annual report on the performance of the businesses.

  • Investor visit once a year to meet with businesses and check performance.
